Ring of Honor announced via Twitter that the company and Marty Scurll has mutually parted ways. Scurll was a top star here and took an office position as the head of the creative team. Scurll was implicated on the “Speaking Out” movement over the summer, accused of inappropriate sexual conduct with a minor. This was expected many months ago however, Ring of Honor is owned by Sinclair Broadcasting and Marty was not just another contracted wrestler, he was an employee with a contract. While I don’t have this confirmed, there was likely an investigation and a settlement made between the parties, which is more than likely what took so long.
