UFC announced that the Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier PPV will be airing at more than 300 drive-in movie theaters across the country. The price will be $60 per car with no more than 6 people per vehicle. This is a great way too get people together and more engaged with the product as UFC events are usually a great way to get people together. Unfortunately that has not been possible during the pandemic. I am surprised that WWE and AEW has not tried this yet, there are not many movies coming out right now and they could use the content.
Mike’s Take: Wonder if the UFC will have security inspecting people’s trunks to make sure they don’t have extra bodies in there. That may or may not have been how I used to sneak in to the drive-in as a kid.
