James Storm made his IMPACT return on the last night episode during the Good Brother’s segment and in the match against AEW’s Private Party. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Just like Matt Cardona, James Storm currently doesn’t have an contract but will continue to appear on future episodes of IMPACT;
“We’ve confirmed that he doesn’t have a contract with IMPACT Wrestling. Storm was also at the October set of tapings, but not at the November tapings that led up to Hard to Kill. He worked two matches at those October filmings, but we’ve learned that he’s not done on IMPACT TV as of yet, as he participated in filming three matches for the show. Storm was brought in to work with AEW’s Private Party, who appeared on the show”.
CHUCK’s TAKE: Having James Storm back in the Impact Zone is such a good feeling. His promos and charisma are such a constant joy to the IMPACT faithful and long term TNA fans. Having him pair with Sabin is good; as it buys time for the anticipated Good Brothers vs MCMG match which we believe could take place at Rebellion. Expect to see Sabin/Storm collide with the Good Brothers for the titles at a future episode of IMPACT or during one of the Plus specials prior to Rebellion.
